A Useful Recording Tool in Windows “PSR”
If you type in ‘PSR’ (or ‘Steps Recorder’) in your start menu, you can use a Windows built-in tool for capturing screenshots, mouse clicks, and keyboard strokes (to an extent).
This is a good tool if you are creating instructions for something, or want a user to capture a process or error while you aren’t able to watch them. It will capture a screenshot every time you click on something, usually highlight where the mouse is, capture some keyboard strokes, and then at the bottom of the document create a step by step guide for everything that was done.
This could also be a real good tool for training new employees in your company to help them learn how to use specific company software and processes around this software.
