Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Moving from Skype for Business to Teams
Does your organization use Microsoft Skype for Business?
Microsoft made an announcement later last year that they will be transitioning folks from Skype and phasing out the Skype brand.
This effort continues to move forward, and Microsoft announced:
Beginning October 1, Skype for Business online is no longer included in Microsoft Office 365 for new customers that have fewer than 500 seats. Tenants that are already using Skype for Business online will be able to continue to do this (including provisioning new users) until they complete their transition to Microsoft Teams.
So, what does that mean for your organization? Time to start planning for the move to Teams.
