Microsoft Officially Launches New Office 365 Enterprise Plan, Plan
This month, Microsoft announced the new Plan E5 to the Office 365 Enterprise family. E5 will encompass the core values of Office 365 productivity and collaboration capabilities, as well as significant new innovations, including new Skype for Business services such as Cloud PBX and Meeting Broadcast; Power BI & analytics features, like Power BI Pro and Delve Organizational Analytics; and new advanced security features, such as eDiscovery, Customer Lockbox, and Advanced Threat Protection. E5 is Microsoft’s top-of-the-range Office 365 plan that includes every piece of functionality available in the service. The E5 suite will provide a significant new opportunity for partners to build new service offerings around real-time communication and analytics, and to reach new customers with important new security features.
New Features Included with E5
- PSTN conferencing to allow invitees to join Skype for Business meetings by dialing in from a landline or mobile phone
- Cloud PBX for cloud-based call management to make, receive, and transfer calls across a wide range of devices
- Advanced security for your data, that helps protect against unknown malware and viruses and provides better zero-day protection to safeguard your messaging system
- Analytic tools for users (Power BI) and organizational insights (Delve Analytic)
Pricing of E5: Microsoft will charge users $35 per month, or $420 per year for its new highest-end Office 365 business plan. Annual commitment payment is available for Office 365 Enterprise plans. With annual commitment, you sign up for a one-year subscription, but you can choose to pay month to month or pay for the entire year at the time you sign up.
