Office for iPad
It has finally happened!
On March 27, 2014 Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced the availability of Office for iPad. Designed by Microsoft, Office for iPad will enable businesses and consumers to view, create, and edit Office documents on their iPad with touch-friendly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint apps. Office on iPad is “a beautiful set of applications,” says Nadella, adding that the company is “taking great care to make sure that Office on every device shines through.”

The Office for iPad App is free in the Apple’s App Store. The “freemium model” will allow users to read and view content, however editing and creating documents with Office for iPad will require an eligible Office 365 subscription.
