Follow these steps, and then quit Registry Editor:

1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
2. Locate and then click the following key in the registry:

3. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
4. Type FilterQueueType, and then press ENTER.
5. On the Edit menu, click Modify.
6. Type FFFFFFFF, and then click OK.

Eliminate the Annoying Extra Prompt in Vista and RDP 6.0

With Vista and RDP 6.0, you will see an extra warning message when connecting to remote PCs saying something like:

 

“Remote Desktop cannot verify the identity of the computer you want to connect to…”

To eliminate this, set the following registry key to 0.  Create the key if it doesn’t exist.

Custom Weighting of IMF

IMF Updates Reg Change

Exchange 2003 SP2 offers the ability to receive IMF updates bi-monthly via the Microsoft Update website.  For the IMF updates to show up on Microsoft Update, a registry key must first be added.

Key Location: HKLMSOFTWAREMICROSOFTEXCHANGE
Key to create: ‘ContentFilterState’
Key Type: DWORD
Key Value: 1

To check the status of IMF updates, browse to the Program FilesExchsrvrBinMSCFV2 directory.  You should see a series of sub directories named for the IMF update versions contained within.
