Our PSS enables 24/7 alerting, giving you peace of mind. When you sign up for PSS, you’ll receive a status report each month with a detailed account of your servers’ condition. Monthly status reports enable our engineers to prevent disasters before they start and maximize equipment uptime.
Proactive Server Support also includes monthly anti-virus status verification, firewall updating, hard drive defragmentation, and patch management. It keeps your server environment running smoothly and efficiently. These check-ups are essential to maintaining an error-free server infrastructure.
Proactive Server Support contracts start at $249 per month. Take the first step toward optimizing your servers and networking equipment by contacting KTS about Proactive Server Support today.
3 Ways To Get the Most From Your Smartphone
By Kevin Moore
In today’s fast paced society, the demand for instant access to information is ever increasing. Whether it’s checking out the latest
headlines, adjusting your schedule, or communicating with friends and colleagues via email and text message, the ability to access your information quickly from anywhere is increasing in importance. If you’ve recently purchased a smartphone, such as an iPhone, Blackberry, HTC, or Palm Pre, you’ll want to make sure that you are maximizing your productivity and getting the most out of its capabilities.
Kazmarek Technology Solutions’ top 3 tips for getting the most from your smartphone:
- Mobile ‘push’ email. Most users prefer their email delivered to their smartphone as it arrives, instead of at timed intervals. Push email is a feature of Microsoft Exchange server, which uses ActiveSync technology to provide real time access to your email. Many smartphones are compatible with Microsoft ActiveSync, and there are other email services such as Gmail and Yahoo! Mail that support push email.
- GPS. Many smartphones have built-in GPS units, so you can easily get directions from the road. This is a big time saver, especially for people who travel–even locally. There are many smartphone applications that utilize the built-in GPS to provide specific information to you based upon your current location, including restaurant recommendations, detailed directions and maps.
- Calendar, address book, and task list organized in real time. When your company uses Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, you can use the Active Sync feature. That means, for example, if someone updates a contact in Outlook at your office, that change will be reflected in real time on your smartphone.
If you are in the market for a smartphone, check out the CNET reviews of smartphones–you can even filter by service provider. Once you have your new smartphone, let Kazmarek Technology Solutions take care of maximizing its capabilities.
Kazmarek Technology Solutions and our team of engineers have been using smartphones for over 10 years. We can help you get the most from your smartphone too!
